Licensed Veterinary Technician

FULL TIME POSITION

Licensed Veterinary Technicians at Warren County Veterinary Clinic are an essential part of our medical team. This role is ideal for a skilled, detail-oriented technician who values quality medicine, teamwork, and compassionate patient care.


As an AAHA-accredited, privately owned small animal hospital, we rely on our LVTs to help deliver high standards of care while supporting a positive, efficient clinic environment. Our technicians are trusted professionals who work closely with veterinarians and assistants to provide thoughtful, thorough care to every patient.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams, diagnostics, and medical procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Induce and monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
  • Provide nursing care and patient monitoring before, during, and after procedures
  • Accurately document medical records and treatment plans
  • Educate clients on medications, follow-up care, and preventive health
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and surgical areas
  • Uphold AAHA standards and hospital protocols at all times


What We’re Looking For

  • Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license in the state of Virginia (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in a small animal hospital preferred
  • Strong technical skills with attention to detail
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication and client education skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Cornerstone software experience is a plus (but not required)

Veterinary Assistant

FULL TIME POSITION

Veterinary Assistants at Warren County Veterinary Clinic play a vital role in supporting our medical team and providing compassionate care to our patients and clients. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about helping pets and the people who love them.


As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work closely with veterinarians, licensed technicians, and client care staff in a fast-paced, full-service small animal hospital. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and brings a positive attitude to the team every day.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians and licensed technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Safely restrain and handle patients with care and compassion
  • Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical spaces
  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment
  • Support patient care, monitoring, and comfort before and after procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
  • Communicate professionally with clients and support the front desk as needed
  • Follow hospital protocols and uphold AAHA standards of care


What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of veterinary experience required
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Client Service Representative (CSR)

FULL TIME POSITION

Client Service Representatives at Warren County Veterinary Clinic are the heart of our client experience. As a CSR, you are often the first and last point of contact for our clients- and you play a critical role in creating a positive, supportive environment for both people and their pets.

This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. If you enjoy helping others, communicating clearly, and being part of a team that truly cares, this role may be a great fit.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and on the phone
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, estimates, and hospital policies
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client records
  • Support the medical team by managing client flow and communication
  • Handle client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and confidence
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area
  • Follow hospital protocols and uphold AAHA standards


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in veterinary medicine or medical customer service preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a genuine desire to help people and their pets
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Comfortable working with computers and scheduling systems
  • Cornerstone software experience is a plus (but not required)
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
